Colombo International Bookfair is being held these days, So I thought to write about the book series I loved. Harry Potter is a series of fantasy novels written by JK Rowling and that series mainly concerns Harry’s struggle against Lord Voldemort. The fictional character of Harry Potter, a boy wizard was created by this British author. His coming-of-age exploits were the subject of seven enormously novels (1997-2007) These seven novels were adapted into eight films (2001-2011). And other major characters in the Harry Potter series are his friends, Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley all of whom are students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry which has four houses such as Slytherin, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff. 1.
